Morrissey ranks his solo albums and singles

Morrissey has shared his own personal ranking of his solo albums and singles, which includes the song he released with Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, and the currently unreleased album ‘Bonfire Of Teenagers’.

The singer and former Smiths frontman took to his website Morrissey Central to share what he considers as the Top 10 albums from across his discography, sharing that while “in my life I loved them all”, these are the ones “which I am most proud” of.

The album had been announced for a 2023 release on the label, but Morrissey later said he had “voluntarily withdrawn from any association with Capitol Records”.

He also revealed that Miley Cyrus, who recorded backing vocals for the track ‘I Am Veronica’ in 2020, had asked to have her vocals removed from the song.

Morrissey also went on to list his own ranking of his solo tracks, and topping the list was 2004’s ‘Irish Blood, English Heart’ which featured on ‘You Are The Quarry’, followed by another song on that album ‘First Of The Gang To Die’.

Morrissey has a string of UK dates coming up in December, kicking off in the Brighton Centre on December 6. He will then head to Cardiff’s Utilita Arena on December 10 and Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena two nights later.

From there, he travels up to Glasgow for a show at the OVO Hydro on December 16 before rounding off the run with a date at Leeds’ First Direct Bank Arena on December 19.
