The new single features Australian producer Swick, with vocals from Spank Rock and Jazz Alonso.
Out now on Local Action, the track draws influence from Latin club music she immersed herself in while DJing at clubs in Spain and Mexico.
This is the third single to be taken from the Jersey Club Queen's forthcoming debut album, which she describes as “a passport to all the places I’ve brought Jersey Club”.
It follows her 2021 breakout EP, ‘Heartbeats’, and includes recent singles, ‘Mile High Club’ and ‘Calling My Name’, which featured Leonce and Cakes Da Killa.
Sharing her thoughts on the track, UNIIQU3 explained: “After a smooth take off with ‘Mile High Club’ and answering the phone to every dance floor that’s ‘Calling My Name’ it’s time to visit a few of my favorite international cities, ‘PAPI’ embodies the energy of the Latin Dance Clubs I’d DJ in Spain and Mexico.
The production is fun and in your face but the lyrics have a mysterious tone that enchants you.
This is her first release on Local Action since she contributed two tracks to the label’s ‘Local Action Remixes: 2010–2025’ compilation, a Conducta remix of her 2021 single, ‘Microdosing’, and a Leonce remix of ‘Touch’.
