Damian Lazarus’ music studio in Tuscany was destroyed by a large fire over the weekend.
The “entire room went up in smoke”, but the building’s frame remained intact thanks to the fire-resistant soundproofing Lazarus had installed.
I’m devastated, of course, but I’m reminded that everything is impermanent,” Lazarus wrote. “I had just finished working on my new single, and fortunately all of that project is saved and will be released this year as planned.
