Skrillex brought out Chase & Status during his headline set at Boomtown last night.
The US DJ headlined the festival’s Hydro XL stage on Sunday (16th August), where he played tracks from his recent ‘SOMA’ LP, alongside material from his wider catalogue.
Towards the end of the set, Skrillex was joined on stage by Chase & Status, with the trio playing an unreleased track that fans online have speculated could be a new collaboration between the artists.
Fans noted Brazilian vocals on the ID, although neither artist has shared any official details. Flowdan also made a surprise appearance during the set.
The performance was reportedly interrupted for around 20 minutes earlier on due to crowd control issues, during which Skrillex appealed to fans to look after each other.

Skrillex recently used his first interview in a decade to discuss the use of AI in music, highlighting the importance of humans being at the centre of music creation.
