The duo teamed up on the track from Dacus’ latest solo album, ‘Forever Is A Feeling’ at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.

Introducing her bandmate, she said: “I wanna invite my best friend to the stage. Would Julien Baker please join?”.

The duo then sang the track as Dacus strummed the song on her acoustic guitar. You can view footage below.

Hozier originally featured on the track and earlier this year he joined Dacus in New York to perform it. Back in June in 2024, he brought Dacus out at one of his shows to perform ‘I, Carrion (Icarian)’, also in New York City.

Elsewhere, in her Outside Lands set, Dacus performed the Boygenius track ‘True Blue’ along with songs from her solo album.

Dacus previously confirmed a romantic relationship with Baker last year and that her recent album was partially inspired by their romance.

She later spoke out about being “uncomfortable” with people treating her and Baker’s lives “like a Marvel Universe”.

At the time, Dacus said that she often writes songs “so I can send them to people or so I can hear them myself” and that “in a way, that’s the bit that makes me feel uncomfortable.

The lore of it all – people treating our lives like a Marvel Universe.

Meanwhile, Dacus brought out The Killers’ Brandon Flowers for a cover of Jim Croce’s ‘Time In A Bottle’ during her set at Newport Folk Festival last month.

Hayley Williams also joined her for ‘Bullseye’ at the bash while Madi Diaz appeared for a performance of ‘Heavy Metal’.

Dacus had earlier made a guest appearance during Williams’ own star-studded set at the festival, joining the Paramore singer alongside Jack Antonoff, Jenny Lewis, Remi Wolf, Wednesday’s Karly Hartzman and Joy Oladokun.

The collaboration with Flowers came after Dacus joined The Killers on stage at Osheaga Festival in Montreal last August for a rendition of ‘Read My Mind’.

Earlier this year, Dacus also teamed up with Chappell Roan for a cover of the Magnetic Fields track ‘The Book of Love’ at Mustafa‘s Sudan and Palestine aid benefit show in Los Angeles.
