Earlier this month it was revealed that police were investigating the death of a woman who was found dead in her tent at the 2026 event. Her identity was not shared at the time, but it was confirmed that she was found unconscious in a tent on a campsite on the last day of the festival.

She was pronounced dead at the scene on Sunday (August 9), despite efforts by on-site personnel to save her.

Now, the woman in question has been confirmed to be Ibiza DJ Santanna Oush, real name Santanna Maria Ally.

She was identified by a friend at the festival, and her sister Katy later confirmed the identity (via North Norfolk News).

Lynn News reports that an inquest was opened at Norfolk Coroner’s Court, and coroners said that suicide was the provisional cause of death.

The London-born DJ lived and worked in Ibiza for years and was a prominent part of the live music scene there – playing with artists including Confidence Man, KI/KI and Kölsch throughout her career.

She also helped found the OuShe parties, which were held at the Pikes venue in Ibiza and celebrated women in music. In a tribute, Pikes described Santanna Oush as “truly inimitable”.

Producer and DJ Bushwacka shared that it was a “tragic loss” and that the artist “brought so much love and laughter to many of us”.

Fellow artist Bear Winder described Oush as “a force and a vessel of creativity, art, music, playfulness, fire, passion, talent and pure love, whilst championing everyone around you always.”.

As well as online posts, Oush’s friend Marcus Eppy has also launched a JustGiving page to help cover her funeral costs. The target was £3,500, but it has already surpassed this and now sits at £9,200 at time of writing.
