Swallow! arrives November 6 via Because Music. Later today, she’s sharing its lead single, “Lucky (Hymn),” a track about coming into your own, as well as an Austen Taylor Pease-directed video that was filmed in one unbroken take.

Swallow! was written during a coming-of-age moment in Shygirl’s life, during which she fell in love, learned more about herself and her impulses, and uncorked a deeper type of appreciation for what surrounds her.

It’s been four years since Shygirl dropped her debut album, Nymph, and her life has been a bit of a whirlwind ever since. She released two EPs—2024’s Club Shy and 2025’s Club Shy Room 2—as well as remix versions, collaborated with everyone from PinkPantheress to Saweetie, got a Björk cosign, and opened for Charli XCX on her Sweat tour behind Brat.
