Today, she returned with the first preview of the record, a pop-meets-post-punk title track accompanied by a video heavily inspired by leather culture. Watch the Mert Alas-directed video for “Bass Persuades” below.
The singer will celebrate Bass Persuades’ September 18 release with two shows at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl: one on October 16, and one on October 17. In the year-and-change since delivering her last LP, she’s stayed booked and busy, releasing a deluxe edition of Something Beautiful and donning her iconic blonde wig for a Hannah Montana 20th-anniversary special.
