Iceland Airwaves 2026: Final wave of artists added to line-up and day splits revealed

Iceland Airwaves has announced its final wave of artists for its 2026 programme and unveiled their day splits.

The festival will return to Reykjavík on November 5 and 7 this year, and will be the 27th edition of the music festival. So far, Adult DVD, Dove Ellis, PISS, and more joined the first wave of names, with The Itch, Any Young Mechanic, Heartworms and more completing the second wave.

Now, 25 new artists have been confirmed as part of last wave of names announced, with NME Cover star Cobrah leading the list.

Alien Chicks, Leith Ross, Worldpeace DMT and Cell7 will also appear at the festival later this year, alongside other artists including Agent Fresco, Apex Anima & FRZNTE, Birnir, Blood Harmony, CeaseTone and Dumbhead.

More new names on the bill are Emma, Juno Paul, Kaktus Einarsson, Mackenzie Leighton, PIXY, Sandrayati, someshiit, Spacestation, State of Grace, Sycamore Tree, Una Torfa, Victoryland, Warhaus and 9m88, all of which round out the final wave of artists to join Iceland Airwaves 2026.

The festival’s first edition was launched in 1999 as a one-off event in an airplane hangar, and is now a hub of cultural discovery for young artists. The programme offers a series of networking events, a music industry conference programme, lively discussions and more alongside their concerts.

Shygirl, The Streets and Daði Freyr & The Iceland Symphony Orchestra are also set to deliver some huge performances for the festival.

Previous names who performed at Iceland Airwaves include Fat Dog, Jasmine. 4.t, Kenya Grace, Antony Szmierek, Deadletter, The Orchestra (For Now), Babymorocco and Ratbag – all of which performed at the 2025 edition.
