Boards of Canada tribute book announced by Disco Pogo

Logicamente intitulado ‘A Disco Pogo Tribute To Boards of Canada’, a publicação segue de perto o mais recente álbum do enigmático e altamente influente grupo eletrônico, ‘Inferno’ — seu primeiro em 13 anos.

The publication comes just months after the band's first album in 13 years.

Disco Pogo has announced a new book honouring Boards of Canada.

As pré-vendas do livro já estão disponíveis e as cópias devem ser enviadas a partir de 10 de novembro de 2026.

Highly respected electronic music writers and journalists such as Simon Reynolds, Elizabeth Alker, and David Keenan have all contributed to the pages. Original words span features, essays on music releases, think pieces and more.

Many musicians have cultivated cultishness, but few have succeeded as thoroughly as Boards of Canada," said Reynolds.

It is the fifth title in our Tribute series – following Daft Punk, Aphex Twin, LCD Soundsystem and Andrew Weatherall – and probably the most requested artist since we launched the series," a spokesperson for Disco Pogo added.

Disco Pogo's roots can be traced back to irreverent dance music publication Jockey Slut, which began life in Manchester at the hands of Bugged Out! heads John Burgess and Paul Benney.

Initially a bi-monthly fanzine, between 1999 and 2004 it ran as a national monthly magazine.
