Fabric and St Paul’s Cathedral announce four-year partnership for music events

Extending a relationship that has already welcomed RY X and Patti Smith to the historic landmark.

fabric and St Paul's Cathedral have announced a four-year partnership for concerts, which will run until 2030. The first show in the programme will take place on 29th October, with full details expected to drop soon.

The legendary London club and British landmark first collaborated in 2024 for a show headlined by Australia-born, Stockholm-based singer, musician, songwriter and producer RY X.

It marked the first time a contemporary music event had been held at the historic 316 year-old site. A subsequent gig saw Patti Smith perform in the space.

It's not the first time fabric has hosted electronic music in historic London landmarks. During the pandemic, the club ran a series called London Unlocked, during which DJs played filmed sets around the city without an in-person audience.

These included Djrum and LCY at Tower Bridge, Ok Williams, Saoirse & Shanti Celeste, and Midland at the V&A, and Batu and object blue in Smithfield Market, and Skream and Shy One at Royal Albert Hall.

Earlier this year, fabric unveiled a major sound upgrade for Rooms 2 and 3 — the first changes that had been made to the spaces in almost a decade. This followed the installation of a Bodykinetic dance floor in Room 1 alongside a substantial overhaul of its legendary Martin Audio rig.
