When Drake announced plans for FOMO, plenty of theories were floated on social media by rap fans about what to expect. The 6 God’s “not so short film” arrived on Tuesday night (Sept.

15), just four months after his May trifecta of albums.

Lasting just over an hour, Fear of Missing Out is similar to Drizzy’s ICEMAN livestream, which essentially saw him turn portions of the short film into a visual album for tracks from his HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR albums.

Drake and Don have been circling each other for months and dropping hints about a potential collab on social media. That seemed to be crystallized when Drizzy popped out at Don’s OCTANE World Tour stop in Toronto in August to perform ICEMAN cuts for the first time in an arena setting.

The colossal collab, tentatively titled “Cold Shoulder,” needs an official release ASAP.
