Armin van Buuren to play vinyl-only set during each date at [UNVRS] Ibiza residency

The Dutch DJ will take over the club for five Mondays from 7th September to 5th October.

Armin van Buuren has revealed that he will play a vinyl-only DJ set at each of his upcoming residency dates at [UNVRS] Ibiza.

The A State Of Trance label head will take over five Mondays at the superclub from 7th September to 5th October, with each show set to incorporate a vinyl-only section.

The final date will see van Buuren play all night long.

He continued: “There’s something magical about the sound of vinyl and the nostalgia it creates. I mean when I started DJing, like the early days of my career, let’s say from ’99 to 2005, it was completely unthinkable to DJ with anything else but vinyl.

A lot of people still have really good memories of those vinyl sets.”.

At the first four residency dates, van Buuren will also revive his face-to-face (F2F) DJ concept, playing with Hannah Laing (Monday, 7th September), Eli Brown (14th September), Argy (21st September), and Funk Tribu (28th September).
