Watch Alok play to a record-breaking crowd at Rock in Rio 2026

The Brazilian DJ closed the New Dance Order stage on Saturday in front of its largest-ever crowd.

The Brazilian DJ played twice at the 2026 edition of the festival, kicking off with his Keep Art Human show on the Main Stage on Friday (11th September). Previously presented at festivals including Coachella, the concept combines music, dance, visual storytelling and technology to explore creativity and human expression in the age of AI.

Alok’s Rock in Rio performance featured 1,500 drones and 45 dancers choreographed by Italian collective Urban Theory.

On the Saturday (12th), Alok brought his Rave The World live concept to the festival’s New Dance Order stage, programming the line-up across the day. He closed the stage with a 3AM set alongside his brother Bhaskar and parents, Swarup and Ekanta, drawing the largest crowd in the stage’s history.

The Rock in Rio shows follow a busy summer of festival appearances for Alok, including Tomorrowland, World DJ Festival in Japan, EDC Thailand, and more.

In 2025, he ranked No. 3 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll, making him the highest-ranked Latin American DJ.
