Set for release on 5th November via her KNTXT label, the three-track EP features ‘Azadi’, ‘Omid’ and ‘Tales Of The Desert’. The release sees de Witte collaborate with NAVA, an AI vocalist developed by British-Iranian artist Farbod Mehr which is intended to represent Iranian women who are prohibited from singing in public under the country’s laws.
De Witte’s decision to collaborate with an AI vocalist has drawn mixed reactions online. “idk if that’s just me but I prefer music made by humans,” one commenter wrote, while anothers criticised the choice, calling it “very disconnected” and "tone deaf" to use an artificial voice instead of a real Iranian singer.
Others defended the collaboration, pointing to the message behind the project. “Nava is not just an AI artist. She represents the voices of Iranian women who have been silenced and denied the right to sing freely for decades,” one commenter wrote.
The announcement comes after de Witte was named the world's No. 1 Techno DJ in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll 2026.
