Sebastian Ingrosso's daughter Melina sang the intro to Swedish House Mafia's hit 'Don't You Worry Child' at the trio's homecoming show at Ullevi stadium this past weekend.
The Gothenburg crowd cheered on the family moment for the special live version of Swedish House Mafia's 2012 hit at the 29th August show. Melina Ingrosso joined her dad's band onstage for the first two verses, finishing on the apt lyric, "My father said.
After she finished belting the last note, she turned to give Sebastian Ingrosso a big hug before the upbeat chorus dropped in. (Singer John Martin performs the vocals on the original recording of the song.).
That show also featured a tribute to late Swedish star Avicii by playing the 2011 single 'Levels' to a brightly lit stadium.
Swedish House Mafia's hometown show was initially announced as one-night-only, with a second show added for 28th August due to popular demand. That first show was then cancelled on the day because of severe storms.
Swedish House Mafia tried to make it up to their fans by performing a free afternoon open-air set at Gothenburg park Götaplatsen on the 29th, ahead of the evening Ullevi concert — 'Levels' can also be heard in this clip from the park performance.
At the end of July, Swedish House Mafia released their first new single of 2026 with fellow Swedish artist Lykke Li. After incorporating it in their sets in recent months, 'Happiness Is So Sad' is out now.
Sebastian Ingrosso recently released a single sampling Celine Dion's 2002 song 'A New Day Has Come.
