Any dedicated Swiftie can tell you more than you’d ever really want to know about Taylor Swift‘s famous trio of adorable cats. But in a new ad for Tommy Hilfiger, husband Travis Kelce introduces the world to the couple’s first canine companion.
The 36-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end is one of the sports and fashion stars who appear in the fall campaign ad filmed at New York’s Plaza Hotel, where the Super Bowl winner bumps into pals including model Gigi Hadid, tennis star Francis Tiafoe and former NBA all-star Carmelo Anthony.

But it’s Kelce’s fluffy white Samoyed that really steals the show in the two-minute ad, in which he rocks a gray hoodie and khaki coat while fist-bumping the Plaza doorman on the way in.
Travis then daps up South Korean DJ/singer Peggy Gou, heads to his room for some quiet time with his canine — whose name Forbes confirmed is Wendy — and then runs into Hadid in the elevator.
The hang ends with a bump-in with BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, also a Hilfiger ambassador, and a dinner featuring Tiafoe and Anthony before a street bump-in with the fashion icon himself.
Hilfiger posted some bonus footage of Kelce chilling and cuddling with Wendy on a white couch in one of the hotel’s suites, enjoying a hang-out, which like the ad, is cued to late KISS guitarist Ace Frehley’s 1978 hit cover of “New York Groove.” (Check out the full spot here).
Speaking to Vogue about the pooch, Kelce responded to the reporter gushing about how beautiful the dog is by beaming, “Are you kidding me? She lights up my day.” After the Hilfiger team mentioned wanting to include a canine in the campaign, Kelce said the dog he and Swift recently adopted was the perfect choice.
In a statement about the campaign, Kelce added, “Tommy brought us into his world at The Plaza for this, and it doesn’t get more classic New York than that. There’s a magic to this city, and I love that you never know who or what’s around the corner.
We had a blast tapping into that unique energy with a cast who truly embody the vibes that make this city so special.”.
Rumors about the couple adopting a dog began to bubble up earlier this year — before their wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 3 — with footage appearing to show a white dog that looks like Wendy getting out of one of Swift’s black SUVs.
With the addition of Wendy, the pet count in the Swift-Kelce household is now up to four, counting the singer’s three cats, Olivia Benson, Benjamin Button and Meredith Grey.
