The British singer-songwriter, real name Alexander James O’Connor, first collaborated with the Grammy-winning Canadian star back in 2025 when they dropped the collaborative double single ‘Rearrange My World / There’s a Field (That’s Only Yours)’.
From there, Rex went on to co-write and co-produced some of the tracks from Caesar’s album, ‘Son of Spergy’, which was released that same year.
Now, the two of them are back with another single – a heartfelt, introspective track that captures that feeling of uncertainty, second guessing yourself, and deliberating between what you know and what you feel.

The new music from Rex Orange County comes following the singer spending the past few weeks performing a series of pop-up shows in the homes of his fans. These gigs saw him travel across the UK and Ireland, bringing intimate performances to fans’ homes.
Those shows continued with some living room shows in South East Asia, ahead of the singer headlining LaLaLa Festival in Jakarta and Manila tonight and Saturday (August 20 and 22).
Afterwards, O’Connor heads back to the UK for an underplay show at Village Underground on Thursday August 27. That gig serves as a warm-up performance at Tyler, The Creator’s All Points East takeover in London on Friday August 28.
The Friday gig is the first of two shows headlined by Tyler, The Creator at All Points East 2026. Night one will see the rapper also joined by Turnstile, Mariah The Scientist, Clipse, Sexyy Red, Ravyn Lenae, Fakemink and Vince Staples.
Meanwhile, on night two (Saturday August 29), he will be joined by Daniel Caesar, Baby Keem, Dijon, Ghostface Killah, Syd, Faye Webster, Danny Brown, Jim Legxacy.
