Remi Wolf has announced her third studio album ‘Mud’, saying making the record has helped her enter “a new phase of life”.

The Palo Alto singer-songwriter will release the follow-up to 2024’s ‘Big Ideas‘ on October 9 via Island Records, and the 11-track album will include the recent single ‘Twiggy’, while another new song ‘Bottle’ will arrive on Thursday (August 20).
Speaking about the record, Wolf has said: “I feel like I’ve crossed into a new phase of life because of this album. I literally felt like I was covered in shit.
And now, at the end of the album process, I feel so clean and clear. It has been a very cleansing record to make for me.”.
She worked with her longtime collaborator Jared Solomon, as well as Jack DeMeo, Jamie McLaughlin and Gigi Grombacher, a group she has described as a “family band”.
They reconvened at New York’s Electric Lady Studios and then completed the record in Joshua Tree.
Discussing the making of that album, Wolf told NME: “In the year of 2022, I had six weeks at home. I just experienced so much, and was riddled with growing pains and thinking a lot, and being put in a lot of situations I’d never been put in before.”.
