Noisia announce reunion and first live show in four years

The Dutch drum & bass trio’s comeback comes seven years after they first announced plans to disband, and four years after their final show at Lowlands in August 2022.

O grupo está prestes a marcar seu retorno com um show na Melkweg, em Amsterdã, no dia 4 de dezembro, com mais datas a serem anunciadas em breve. O local também ocupa um lugar na história da Noisia, tendo sediado a última edição de Amsterdã da série Noisia Invites durante sua despedida.

Having grown more closely connected again, they said: “Memories of joy, beauty and mutual respect started to outweigh the shadows of the past. Mentioning Noisia had lost its heaviness.

Conversations followed of what working together again could look and sound like, and plans for new material started to form.”.

The group continued: “We started making music together again. That in turn made us crave the excitement of the stage, and the feeling of sharing our music with crowds.”.

The Melkweg show, along with the other dates to follow, will draw on Noisia’s back catalogue while also showcasing newer material they have been working on. The trio say audience feedback from these performances will help shape and refine the tracks ahead of any official releases, meaning it could still be some time before the new music arrives.
