The singer-songwriter performed on the festival’s main stage, now called The Grid, this afternoon (August 29) – performing what she described as a “megamix” of songs from across her discography.

She continued: “I think sonically, lyrically, you can really hear that in the album. I was falling in love, and I was at home for the first time in four years because I’d been touring and travelling, and I couldn’t have made that album without first feeling that sense of calm and stability.
As a result, I think the music really reflects that.”.
Michaels, in particular, is one of Peters’ musical heroes, and a songwriter whose music she grew up listening to. “She was supporting Niall Horan, and I went to his show to watch Julia Michaels,” she shared.
No palco ao vivo, Peters cumpriu mais um sonho em junho, levando “Florescence” ao lendário Grand Ole Opry de Nashville. “Sou um grande fã de música country e vi tantos vídeos no YouTube de pessoas tocando no Opry,” ela disse.
O próximo marco importante de Peters chegará em 2027, quando ela será a artista principal no The O2, em Londres, pela primeira vez. A cantora e compositora hesitou em chamar o próximo show de momento da lista de desejos – mas apenas “porque eu nem sei se, quando eu estava fazendo uma lista de desejos aos 16 anos, eu teria pensado em colocar isso lá”.
Asked what special plans she has for the show so far, she teased: “I’ll probably be on horseback. There’ll probably be a lot of horses – real horses. We might just take out the stage and just do the horses, and then the horse is going to ascend, just like the Ariana Grande show.”.
