Eric Clapton is giving guitar collectors a reason to make room on the wall. Today (Aug. 26), Guitar Center unveiled its 2026 exclusive Crossroads guitar collection, with limited-edition guitars across five models.
The line-up was created in collaboration with Clapton and includes a new John Mayer x PRS Silver Sky. Mayer will debut the model onstage at this year’s Crossroads Guitar Festival in Austin, Texas.

Previous Clapton-exclusive guitars have been a hot commodity at Guitar Center, with the remake of the singer’s 2006 “Blackie” flying off the shelves in just four hours, the fastest-selling guitar launch at that time.
Almost two decades later, in 2025, the Gibson Custom Eric Clapton 1958 Les Paul sold out in under 12 hours.
The new collection arrives Aug. 26 at Guitar Center stores nationwide and online. Fans at the 2026 Crossroads Guitar Festival from Sept. 26-27 can also shop the collection at The Guitar Center Experience, alongside Clapton’s original “Blackie” and other Legends Collection instruments.
Martin 000-13E Eric Clapton (Natural).
Available at Guitar Center until Jan. 27, 2027.
The Martin 000-13E brings Clapton’s signature acoustic formula to a more attainable price point. Its compact 000 body reflects a shape he has favored for decades, and comes in antique toner natural and 1935 sunburst.
Only 70 of these guitars will be produced, making it one of the collection’s most limited releases.
Created in partnership with John Mayer, the PRS Silver Sky is the collection’s wildcard. Finished in incline blue, the guitar features a rosewood fretboard, a custom “Crossroads Sun” inlay at the 12th fret and a festival-specific neck plate.
Mayer will bring the guitar model to the stage for the first time at the 2026 Crossroads Guitar Festival.
Clapton’s famous Blind Faith guitar gets a meticulous Fender re-creation. What makes it stand out is its combination of a Telecaster custom body with a replica 1956 “Brownie” Stratocaster neck, mimicking the guitar Clapton played during Blind Faith’s legendary 1969 Hyde Park performance.
Martin Custom 000-42 Eric Clapton Ziricote (Natural & Sunburst).
For collectors looking for something considerably more exclusive, Martin’s 000-42 pairs Clapton’s preferred 000 shape with ziricote wood, prized for its distinctive grain and tonal qualities.
Only 50 guitars will be made in each of the two finishes, 1935 Sunburst and Clear Natural.
Martin Custom 000-42 Eric Clapton (Brazilian).
Exceptionally rare and limited to just five worldwide.
Crafted with Brazilian rosewood back and sides plus a solid Adirondack spruce top, the Martin 000-42 Eric Clapton Brazilian features Clapton’s favored 000 body shape.
Each guitar is personally signed by Eric Clapton and includes a Certificate of Authenticity, making it a remarkable collector’s piece.
Guitar Center’s Clapton connection dates back to 2004, when the company acquired several historic instruments at the Crossroads guitar auction, including “Blackie,” Clapton’s Cream-era Gibson ES-335, and George Harrison’s Martin 00-21.
Those guitars now form part of the retailer’s Legends Collection at its Hollywood flagship.
Proceeds made from the 2026 Crossroads guitar collection will go to the Crossroads Centre Antigua, a treatment and education center founded by Clapton in 1998 for people affected by chemical and alcohol dependency.
