Djrum announces !K7 'DJ-Kicks' mix, shares 'Psychic Video'

The 33-track set features music from Venetian Snares, Skee Mask and upsammy, as well as four new cuts by Djrum himself.

Djrum is set to mix the next instalment of ! K7's 'DJ-Kicks' compilation series.

Due out on 16th October, his mix takes in 33 tracks, including exclusive cuts by Skee Mask and Clark, as well as four brand new songs by Djrum himself. The set also takes in music by Venetian Snares, upsammy, Susumu Yokota and emptyset, among others.

Djrum's mix was recorded entirely on vinyl, with different takes then chopped up, collaged and overdubbed until the DJ and producer was happy with the end product.

In a statement about his 'DJ-Kicks' set, as well as his general mixing style, he said: "I like things to be a bit bumpy, to have ups and downs, and fuck with expectations.

Djrum's contribution to the 'DJ-Kicks' series follows on from the release last month of his latest EP, 'I Wander', via Houndstooth.
