The song’s staying power has extended into a new generation. In his post, Baute credited listeners who have fallen in love, dedicated the track to someone special, embraced while hearing it or sung it “at the top of their lungs.” “Behind that billion views, there is much more than a number,” he wrote.
Baute also thanked Sánchez for helping shape what became one of Latin pop’s most enduring collaborations.
More recently, Baute revisited the hit with an AtellaGali remix, giving the beloved ballad a refreshed dance-pop treatment for a new era. “Reimagining [the song] was both an honor and a delicate responsibility,” AtellaGali told Billboard Español last year.
