Brandi Carlile postpones UK and European tour over “personal circumstances”

Brandi Carlile has postponed the UK and European leg of her tour.

The dates, which were initially set to kick off in October in celebration of her 2025 album ‘Returning To Myself’, have now been pushed to March 2027.

Carlile announced the news on Instagram yesterday (August 7), telling fans she had been “so profoundly anxious about this decision”, but had to push the gigs back due to “personal circumstances”.

Her Lisbon show has been cancelled outright, and refunds will be issued to ticket holders. Meanwhile, two new dates in Wolverhampton and Copenhagen have been added.

Fans holding tickets to shows in England that have changed venues will be offered full refunds along with priority presale access to the new dates.

The postponement does not affect the U.S. leg of the tour, which is scheduled to begin next week in Maine.

Carlile is due to play All Things Go festival next month, which takes place at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, from September 25 to 27.

In other news, earlier this year the singer hit out at Donald Trump after a huge live show in Minneapolis, and said that those who voted for him have been “scammed”.

The show was dubbed ‘Be Human: A Concert for Minneapolis’, and was globally livestreamed, raising money for the Advocates for Human Rights.

Carlile also joined Michael Stipe, Josh Homme and more to cover classic tracks by Elvis Presley, Tom Petty and more at the 2026 Gansett Games.
