The London-based Irish band released their self-titled five-song EP in May and now they have followed it up with this new track, released yesterday (August 19) via Polydor Records.
The song sees frontman Barry ‘Baz’ Quinlan’s moody vocals jostling for supremacy with squalling, urgent guitars and a tight, propulsive rhythm.
Describing the song’s origins, Quinlan has said: “‘Figure 8’ is the product of crying quietly so your flatmates don’t hear you.”.
The band have been playing festivals around Europe this summer and are set to open for Wunderhorse in Belfast and Cork next week, before appearances at Reading & Leeds, Electric Picnic and Iceland Airwaves.
