O cantor e compositor do sul de Londres foi o convidado musical no quarto episódio da segunda temporada do programa de esquetes, que foi apresentado por Danny Dyer.

Keable opened with ‘Options’, a soulful R&B track that she released earlier this month, and later returned to perform ‘Why’, which originally arrived in 2024 and was subsequently included on her acclaimed 2025 EP ‘Act Right’.

Speaking about its creation, Keable explained: “When I walked into the studio Eddie had already been working on the melody. I started singing back to him the first thing that came into my head: ‘breakup sex’ – and that became the lyric, I was like, right, that’s what we’re talking about.”.

A música seguiu o lançamento de ‘ACT II’ em fevereiro, uma edição ampliada de seu EP de 2025 ‘Act Right’, com cinco faixas adicionais.

In a five-star review of the original EP, NME praised Keable’s ability to combine traditional soul influences with contemporary R&B, describing the record as a “stunning reintroduction to the world”.

The singer was also included in NME‘s 100 essential emerging artists of 2026, and received a nomination for Best R&B Act at this year’s BRIT Awards.

Her recent rise has also seen her tour with GIVĒON, support Olivia Dean in Dublin and perform at the Roots Picnic festivals in London and Philadelphia.

Mais tarde este mês, Keable estará entre os artistas em uma celebração especial de 20º aniversário do ‘Back To Black’ de Amy Winehouse no Roundhouse de Londres, no dia 21 de outubro.

The show will see Mark Ronson, Salaam Remi and the Amy Winehouse Band revisit the landmark album in full, with guest vocalists including Jorja Smith, FLO, Corinne Bailey Rae and Lianne La Havas.

Meanwhile, Saturday Night Live UK will continue next Saturday (October 17), when James Norton hosts with The Streets as musical guests. Cynthia Erivo and Blossoms will appear on October 24, before the show takes a break until early 2027.
