The street and memorial were established in 2017, letting locals and visitors visit the colorful home that Rihanna (born Robyn Rihanna Fenty) grew up in in the suburbs of Bridgetown, with the old Westbury New Road renamed Rihanna Drive.

The family has made the most of their visit, with Rihanna continuing her tradition of doing the most when it comes to dressing up in traditional attire for the annual Crop Over festival.

This year’s event took place from July 4-Aug. 3, culminating with the Grand Kadooment Day Parade on Aug. 3, in which RihRih marched in a wildly colorful, elaborate costume covered in jewels, sparkles and bright, peacock-colored feathers.

She walked, danced and mingled during the parade, blowing kisses to fans along the way and then ditching her towering headpiece for a more modest to party on a float as she waved to fans.
