Por que artistas veteranos estão abandonando as turnês – e que esperança resta para novos artistas.

O cantor e compositor fará a turnê no início do próximo ano, marcando sua primeira série de shows com a atual banda solo nas costas.

He is joined in the line-up by drummer Mike Joyce (The Smiths), guitarist Mike Moore (Liam Gallagher/Oasis), bassist/pedal steel guitarist Mark Neary (Baxter Dury), guitarist Jack Jones (Trampolene) and Doherty’s wife, keyboardist Katia deVidas (Puta Madres).

Doherty and co. will treat fans to a career-spanning set including material from his solo back catalogue, as well as some tracks by Babyshambles, The Libertines and The Smiths.

Kicking off in Bath on February 1, the forthcoming trek also includes shows in Brighton, Falmouth, Southampton, Nottingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Holmfirth and Kidderminster.

Doherty está prestes a concluir a turnê com uma apresentação de retorno ao lar na Hackney Church, em Londres, no dia 12 de fevereiro.

Pete Doherty’s solo tour dates for 2027 are.

FEBRUARY 01 – Komedia, Bath 02 – Concorde 2, Brighton 03 – Princess Pavilion, Falmouth 05 – Engine Rooms, Southampton 06 – The Palais, Nottingham 07 – Academy 2, Manchester 08 – Wylam Brewery, Newcastle 10 – Picturedrome, Holmfirth 11 – Town Hall, Kidderminster 12 – Hackney Church, London.

Doherty released his latest solo record, ‘Felt Better Alive’, last year. The project peaked at Number Seven on the UK albums chart. He added Mike Joyce to his live band around the same time.

Enquanto isso, The Libertines lançaram seu álbum mais recente, ‘All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade’, em 2024.

Speaking to NME this summer, Doherty teased that Babyshambles were working on “bits and bobs” when asked about new music. “There are some good ideas knocking about, but I don’t know whether to do them with ‘Shambles or offer them to The Libertines,” he said.

He continued: “We’re kind of armed and dangerous, Babyshambles. We’ve got these amazing songs and some amazing characters. We’ll keep it as it is for now. Obviously if we write 12 amazing songs all together then we’d have to make a record.”.

As for progress on the next Libertines album, Doherty told us that the band “finally [had] a general idea about something” while hinting at a potential “concept” record.
