ADE Lab and DJ Mag are joining forces for the third year running to present CLUB Lab, a multidisciplinary showcase of the artists and sounds shaping global electronic music.
Abrangendo shows ao vivo de áudio e vídeo no Het Ketelhuis e um programa noturno de clube no Radio Radio, o evento contará com apresentações de um elenco diversificado de artistas selecionados por meio de uma chamada aberta, além de alguns favoritos já estabelecidos.
Na terceira edição consecutiva, ADE Lab e DJ Mag se unem para o CLUB Lab, um evento ao vivo multidisciplinar e noite de clube que celebra os artistas e ideias que impulsionam a música eletrônica para frente.
O evento, que acontece na sexta‑feira, 23 de outubro, como parte do Amsterdam Dance Event 2026, apresentará sets de DJ, shows ao vivo e performances A/V, com artistas que incluem pesos pesados da indústria e talentos emergentes selecionados por meio de um concurso aberto altamente competitivo.
The evening will unfold across two Amsterdam venues, kicking off with a free-entry audiovisual programme at Het Ketelhuis from 9–11PM before moving to Radio Radio for a club night running until 6AM.
From house and UK garage to bass music and breaks, the night will explore the many intersections of contemporary club music, shaped by influences ranging from Desi sounds and Moluccan musical traditions to the UK underground.
At Het Ketelhuis, On Track wildcard winners Minnie & Fryware will make their live debut as a duo, bringing drum & bass and pop together in an audiovisual performance with Mysterious Creator.
They’ll be joined by Colombian Drone Mafia & Cayequitas, Emma Rubikaitė-Milašiūtė & Khrystyna Kirik, and Makoto Inoue, rounding out an A/V programme that sets the tone for the evening.
The night continues at Radio Radio with a line-up of six DJs, each bringing a distinctive approach to the dancefloor. Expect UK garage heat from Leeds-based Valentina, Southeast Asian perspectives on UK club sounds from Malaysia’s VKANG, and playful genre-hopping across breaks, electro, and techno from Rotterdam’s Té de Gember.

We also tried running a listening bar concept store for a while, but things didn’t really work out. At the time, this kind of culture was still relatively new in Malaysia, so we eventually shifted our focus and turned our sessions into what is now EDEN & Friends Community Radio.
Through that project, we’ve connected with DJs and creatives from all around the world. It opened up a much wider perspective for us. Not only on music, but also on different scenes, cultures, and what’s happening beyond Malaysia.

Later on, DJs like Dr Dubplate, Interplanetary Criminal, Main Phase, and the newer generation like Silva Bumpa inspired me a lot. They gradually shaped the way I approach my performances and music selection.
But what really stayed with me was watching DJs like DJ Heartstring, IDEMI and KETTAMA online. Seeing people genuinely come for the music, dance with the music, and completely immerse themselves in the journey really moved me.
I might not be a famous DJ in Malaysia, and very often I find myself playing as an unknown warm-up or closing DJ., but that has never stopped me from wanting to give my best.

For the next stage of my DJ career, I hope to gain more recognition internationally and continue growing into a more professional DJ through the journey. Hopefully, that means getting more opportunities to play, meeting more people, and continuing to share the music I love with different crowds.
More than anything, I hope music can take me around the world, allowing me to play, connect with people, and experience different cultures and cities through the music.”.
Rotterdam-based Té de Gember’s sets are all about bouncy rhythms and playful detours, with touchstones in breaks, electro, UK garage, and techno. Having moved to the Netherlands five years ago, she first attended ADE as a festival-goer before taking up DJing two years ago, initially through a course in Rotterdam and later developing her skills at Radio Radio.
Now, selected through the CLUB Lab open call, she’ll return to ADE to play at the venue, bringing her DJ journey “full circle”.

Leeds-based DJ Valentina brings a drummer’s sense of rhythm to her sets, which move between UK garage, house and more. She first stepped behind the decks at a psytrance gathering in Lombok, Indonesia, and was hooked enough to buy her own controller after returning to the UK.
After impressing the CLUB Lab judging panel, Valentina will make her ADE debut at Radio Radio this Friday, unleashing her favourite garage cuts and high-octane club sounds on the dancefloor.

The first time I ever touched decks was a pretty rogue experience, I was at a tiny psytrance gathering on a beach in Lombok, Indonesia! A year or so later after I came home to the UK I bought some flx4’s and buried myself in the music day and night and released a couple mixes on Soundcloud.
Five months later I had my first set in our local underground club, Distrikt and I’m still putting all my energy into it. It’s been 10 months and a few upgrades since the flx4.
There’s definitely a fair few artists that have shaped my sound: Katie (one of my closest friends who taught me to mix), Osmosis Jones, Fumiya Tanaka, Malps, Sulphur, Sunship, Jeremy Sylvester, Groove Chronicles, Prozak, Interplanetary Criminal, and the Welsh wizard Lucas Alexander.

Amsterdam’s Cinnaman has spent years shaping the city’s underground, from co-founding bass-focused club night Colors to being a longtime resident at Radio Radio.
Seus sets de DJ flutuam entre house, garage, hip‑hop e soul, com foco recente em discos mais lentos, especialmente ao abrir a noite e definir o ritmo.
Returning to Radio Radio for CLUB Lab, Cinnaman will bring his deep knowledge of the city’s underground club sounds to the line-up. “It’s so important for more established DJs to share their knowledge and help the next generation,” he told DJ Mag.
Dutch-Moluccan DJ, producer and vocalist JAEL’s love of UK garage goes back to childhood. At around ten years old, he was listening to ‘Speedfreax’ and ‘Pure Garage’ mixtapes on repeat, learning the sounds and how the tracks flowed into one another.
That early pull towards two-step still runs through his DJ sets, alongside gospel, soul and the musical traditions of the Moluccan community in the Netherlands, where UK garage has had a connection since the late ’90s.
Now in his 18th year as a working artist, he’s also been busy making new music on tour, including his recent single, ‘Vicious’ with Jengi.
