A parceria do duo de trip-hop com a equipe de Dublin - um dos clubes mais antigos do mundo de propriedade dos fãs - os vê lançar o jersey FAI Cup/Terceiro de 2026, arrecadando fundos para ajuda médica a Cuba.

Thirty per cent of profits will be shared between the Cuba Solidarity Campaign’s Cuba Vive Medical Aid Appeal and mediCuba-Europa.

Per a press release, the new shirt “brings together two of people’s greatest loves, music and football, in support of the Cuban people as they continue to endure a brutal illegal blockade enforced by the United States”.

The jersey was designed by Massive Attack alongside Bohemian F. C. designers, paying homage to historic Cuban kits and to the connection between Cuba and Ireland.

O corpo do item exibe grossas faixas marrons e pretas com um V vermelho no pescoço centrado por uma grande estrela branca tirada da bandeira cubana, La Estrella Solitaria, simbolizando independência absoluta, liberdade e soberania para o povo cubano.

Massive Attack’s band logo is on the front, with the stripes adorning the words of Che Guevara’s historic address. The crest is in the Irish language, featuring the lyrics “love is a doing word“, from the duo’s classic hit ‘Teardrop’.

The collar and cuffs are woven in the Bohemian F. C. colours black and red, while each sleeve boasts three stitched stripes. An embroidered hem tag shows Dublin artist Jim Fitzpatrick’s iconic image of Guevara alongside his signature.

On the back of the shirt, beneath the collar, is the Massive Attack flame symbol with the words of Guevara’s father: “In my son’s veins flowed the blood of the Irish rebels.” Buy yours here.

Massive Attack said: “We’re proud to follow the tradition of musicians who’ve collaborated with Bohemian F. C. to support a fan-owned football club, at the same time drawing attention to important social or political issues.

They continued: “Our nominated charities arrange urgent shipments of medical aid to Cuba, where vital hospital supplies are threatened by the Trump administration’s blockade of the island, an illegal act of collective punishment of the Cuban people.”.

Daniel Lambert, Chief Commercial Officer at Bohemian F. C., said: “We are delighted to unveil this jersey following months of work with Massive Attack and their team.”.

Natasha Hickman, da Cuba Vive Medical Aid Appeal, comentou: A bloqueio dos EUA está impulsionando a mais profunda crise humanitária de Cuba em décadas, e a necessidade de ajuda médica nunca foi tão grande.

Massive Attack follow in the footsteps of Oasis, Fontaines D. C., Kneecap and Jazzy in joining forces with Bohemian F. C. to launch a special kit. Daniel Lambert is also Kneecap’s manager.

In other news, Massive Attack have been banned from re-entering Singapore after the group displayed a Palestinian flag at a recent concert. They said earlier this month that the “entire band was detained by the police, isolated and separately questioned – with some members subjected to hotel room searches and temporary passport confiscation”.

The duo went on to say that the “surreal” experience was “a reminder of the importance of defending universal human rights and freedom of expression wherever those rights are threatened”.

Massive Attack reiterated their opposition to the UK government’s choice to proscribe Palestine Action as a terrorist group, too.

Massive Attack, who have boycotted performing in Israel since 1999, issued a statement supporting Kneecap last year, after it was announced that the Irish trio were under investigation by counter-terrorism police in the UK.

O caso contra Mo Chara, do Kneecap, foi abandonado no último setembro devido a uma questão técnica relacionada à forma como foi apresentado. Na época, o Chefe de Magistratura disse ao tribunal que a acusação era "ilegal" e "nula.

Earlier this year, Robert Del Naja condemned the “draconian government” after being arrested during a protest against the ban on Palestine Action. The musician was among hundreds of fellow demonstrators who took to London’s Trafalgar Square, and held up a sign that read: “I Oppose Genocide, I Support Palestine Action.”.
