Man accused of pissing on family at Morgan Wallen gig arrested

In the latest story to emerge from what has been a strangely scatological summer in live music, a Morgan Wallen fan has been arrested after allegedly urinating on a family of four.

The alleged incident occurred during a concert at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on July 18, with TMZ reporting that Wallen fan Troy Grevelding had attended the gig with his wife, brother, and eight-year-old niece when a man directly behind them, whom Grevelding said appeared to be intoxicated and had been disruptive earlier in the night, allegedly began urinating.

Jayson Reed, 33, has now been charged with four counts of second-degree assault, public urination and other related offenses, the Maryland Transportation Authority Police said in a news release Wednesday (August 12).

Deputies in Wilson County, North Carolina, arrested Reed after an investigation by Maryland police and consultation with Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office led to a warrant being issued.

A chaotic scene unfolded at Morgan Wallen’s concert this weekend at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. A man, apparently caught up in the “Still the Problem” energy, allegedly treated the crowded area as his personal restroom—urinating directly on a nearby family that included young.

However, following that, Maryland Transportation Authority Police opened an investigation that led to Wednesday’s eventual arrest. The transportation police said they “conducted a thorough investigation and identified witnesses who were not present during the initial on-scene investigation”.

Police have said that Reed is currently jailed in North Carolina awaiting extradition to Maryland.

As aforementioned, his arrest marks the latest in what’s been a summer of several disgusting incidents disrupting live concerts across the globe. Last month alone, a metal gig in New Zealand was ruined by what was described as “mess of shit, just completely spread all in the mosh pit”.

Before that, Noah Kahan was forced to tell fans: “If you have to poop at a show please dear god just go to the bathroom lmao,” after one fan reportedly defecated in their seat rather than miss a song.

The ‘Stick Season’ artist later made a light-hearted call to Congress to force his fans to wear diapers to gigs to stop them pissing and shitting everywhere.
