Lewis Capaldi has shared an update on his plans for a third album.
The Scottish singer was appearing on the main stage at Sziget Festival in Budapest, Hungary yesterday (August 13), where he performed immediately before headliners Florence + the Machine.

At the end of the set, Capaldi teased the follow-up to his previous two albums, 2019’s ‘Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent’ and 2023’s ‘Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent’.
When this was received with a cheer, he continued: “I promise I’ll be back as soon as I possibly fucking can be.”.
Elsewhere in the performance, which drew a huge audience, he reflected on the “mental breakdown” he had suffered and overcome since his last Sziget performance: “Sad times – very sad times.
But I feel good now! So let’s all just fucking have a nice, lovely time with each other.”.
Capaldi joked that he was distracted by the bungee jumpers leaping from a platform opposite the stage, encouraging the audience to chant before someone took the plunge.
