La Roux has shared a new single, ‘Lose Myself’ – you can listen to it below.

The personal song is the latest preview of the singer’s fourth studio album, ‘Old Flames’, which is released on November 6 via Vertigo Records.
She concluded: “The song is kind of a fight to try to get me to have enough love and respect for myself to break out of that cycle.”.
She now recognises that she was self-medicating: “Stoned me you’re never gonna leave/ No doubt you never hear me shout/ One two, they’re coming after you/ ‘Cause the demon on the child is the one you wanna lose.”.
Within the lyrics on the LP, the synth-pop star references everything from David Lynch to Donnie Darko while “capturing a sound that is both immersive and nostalgic, while also forward-facing”.
