K-Lone - Have a few days off

It’s a dilemma every dance music producer faces at some point. Does this track need more wobble? Or more wriggle instead? A question that K-Lone always has the right answer to on his new mini-album.

Drawing on his increasingly stellar DJ sets and the production chops that have made his remix of Herbert and Momoko’s ‘Need To Run’ one of the tunes of the summer, these six club-focused tunes skip between the slinky gyrating basslines of ‘Love me a little more’ — a wink back at ‘Love Me A Little’ from 2023’s ‘Swells’ LP – and the sticky synth sounds and babbling voices of ‘eerhT owT enO’.

The title track has ample helpings of both wobble and wriggle, which we’d call ‘woggle’ if only those Scouts hadn’t claimed that word for themselves.
