For the first time, the awards show will take place in Mexico on Nov. 5 at the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center in the resort town of Puerto Vallarta, located in Jalisco.
Named HEAT Latin Music Awards al Estilo Jalisco, the 2026 Mexican edition is in collaboration with the government of Jalisco and the municipality of Puerto Vallarta.
The 2026 gala will coincide with the HEAT Week running from Oct. 31 to Nov. 5. That’s also during the time of Day of the Dead, one of the country’s oldest traditions and beloved holiday celebrated on Nov.

Founded more than 10 years ago by Montes, a Colombian music executive and Billboard Latin Power Player, Premios Heat was previously celebrated on the beach in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and last year it was hosted in Medellín, Colombia.
The awards show recognizes renowned and up-and-coming artists who are making a buzz in the Caribbean and Latin American regions.
The 2026 HEAT Latin Music Awards ceremony will livestream on LosHeat.tv.
